Young Company gave me the ability to see the potential that I have for the arts. I. already loved theater to begin with, but discovering a love for shakespeare has been one of the most valuable things I have ever recieved. This year, I got to play Prospero in Young Company's production of "The Tempest" and I would not trade that experience for the world. Not only am I able to tell stories, but telling stories as a young person--especially with a number of Shakespeare's more popular shows taking place with younger people--makes them so much more impactful to the audiences, and for me. This group of young people work at such a high caliber toward the same goal, and it is always something so invigorating to be a part of or observe. A donation to Young Company means supporting more students finding a love for timeless stories that keep being told for good reason with the help of some of the most incredible teachers I have ever had.
So far I've raised $391 out of $500
