I am so grateful that I get to be a part of Young Company! I have loved going to the theater for as long as I can remember. I was inspired to become an actor during the talkback of a Young Company show. The first play I was in was Young Company’s production of HENRY IV, PART I. Over my two years with this program, I have learned and grown in many different aspects of acting, including technique, IPA, and viewpoints, and have felt so at home in the community. One of the first classes I had in Young Company was about objectives, what a character wants to achieve over the course of a play. My objective for my final semester is to be fully present for every moment of every class. These past two years I have had the opportunity to collaborate with such incredible teachers and peers, which is what I will miss the most when I graduate this spring. I will always be thankful for my time here. Thank you so much in advance for your donations, your support helps fund this company, our trips to the American Players Theatre and the Utah Shakespeare Festival, and our community!
So far I've raised $269 out of $500
