Manhattan Theatre Club’s Spring Gala will take place on Monday, May 20, 2024.
MTC’s Spring Gala is a long-running annual event that is a highlight of the spring social season. It includes a cocktail reception, elegant seated dinner, and a one-night-only show featuring performances from many of the season’s most exciting Broadway musicals.
From dazzling world premieres like Jocelyn Bioh’s Jaja’s African Hair Braiding to new works by familiar names like John Patrick Shanley’s Brooklyn Laundry, the generous support of donors helps MTC develop and produce innovative theatre of the highest quality and helps us nurture the next generation of artists and audience members through MTC Education programs. All funds donated to the Spring Gala will go towards ensuring the continued excellence of all MTC programming.
$3,000 represents the cost of occupancy expenses for an MTC rehearsal studio for one week.
$6,000 sponsors two MTC artists or educators to attend the Gala.
$10,000 represents the cost of one school to participate in the TheatreLink program, a distance learning theatre program for high school students.
$20,000 represents the cost of one school to participate in Write On the Edge, MTC’s high school playwriting residency program.
