My Story
I became a playwright because of the work that Playwrights Horizons supports. They commit to the unflinching, unfamiliar new voices of contemporary artists in America and push the medium forward. Their boldness inspired me to come to New York and write plays.
I started running after the loss of my father three years ago. He was an athlete; I was a thespian. He always told me I'd be a distance runner. As a member of the inaugural Playwrights Horizons team, I am proud to honor my father and to unite his life's work to mine.
