I have been involved with Pittsburgh Opera in so many ways. I was thrilled to participate in "The Grapes of Wrath" by Ricky Ian Gordon and to stand on the stage with Kevin Glavin, Lisette Oropessa and Lawrence Brownlee in the opera "The Daughter of the Regiment" by Donizetti - the opera that was my inspiration to become a singer. These days as a radio host on WQED-FM, I have the opportunity to talk to cast members, conductors and directors to get the inside "scoop" on the upcoming productions presented by Pittsburgh Opera. I think the Resident Artist program is one of the finest performance/training programs anywhere in the U.S. Please help me raise funds and support the resident artists - and I will send you one of my 2021 calendars of my personal artwork as a gift for your donation.
